Video: Rory McIlroy Updates Us On His Injury With A Look At His Sublime Swing

Rory McIlroy has had himself a busy day on Instagram.

Earlier, the World's #1 ranked golfer posted a picture of the awful ankle injury that kept him out of The Open at St.Andrews as he ruptured ligaments while playing 5-a-side football with his pals, but while that was to inform us just how bad his a situation was, Rory has now showed us the progress he has made since.

A few hours ago McIlroy uploaded this video of his golf swing to signify his return to action, albeit limited, and he swing looks as good as ever:

All eyes will be on McIlroy as he faces a race against time to be fit to defend his USPGA Championship title next week, but this video may be suggesting that the Ulsterman is confident that he can make it.

We certainly hope he can.
