Upon hearing Conor McGregor's words of praise for her, Ronda Rousey has returned the favour by saying she is enjoying how The Notorious has developed as a fighter and as a man since he joined the UFC.
McGregor told media a couple of weeks ago that he takes 'great inspiration from Ronda and her work ethic.' So how does Rousey feel about him?
Conor, it's been a real joy watching him progress and mature as, not just as a fighter, but as a man. I've seen him grow a lot and I have been very encouraged by what I have seen. I couldn't be happier for him and the company for winning [the title]. I really appreciate the respect he has shown me and it's definitely mutual.
It would have been a lot more entertaining if one them had called the other an eejit but sure what can you do?
