The Longest Running Transfer Saga Looks To Be Coming To An End Soon
By Conor O'Leary

It seems that German international Mats Hummels is continually linked with a move to Manchester United. Every year for the last several years since before Sir Alex Ferguson left, reports that paired Hummels with the Manchester club.

Now though, a resolution to Hummels' future looks to be approaching. According to the Daily Mirror, the centre half has told his German teammates that he is expecting to leave the club in the summer to finally make that move.

This appears to be the most concrete bit of information about Hummels in a long time. The price quoted for Louis Van Gaal to pay to get his man is £35 million.
