Rather than bring in a well known tipster with a history of picking winners, we here at balls.ie have decided to thrown caution a small Gianfranco Zola figurine to the wind and let chance decide.

4.00 Zola goes for Quevaga
Not one to stray too far from the pack, Gianfranco has gone with the same choice as the majority of the tipsters.
3.20 Zola goes for Our Conor
Well seeing as it's the big race of the day we gave Gianfranco the choice of three horses. He has gone against the tipsters' choice of The New One in favour of Irish hopeful Our Conor. Fingers crossed...
2.40 Zola goes for Wrong Turn
Indeed this could be a wrong turn for the Italian after he landed on this chap instead of the tipsters' favourite Tour des Champs. I'm beginning to doubt his abilities.
Result: This was an unmitigated disaster for Zola with Wrong Turn being pulled up midway through the race. I blame whomever gave him the choice of landing on that.
2.05 Zola goes for Champagne Fever
Alas it wasn't to be for Gianfranco in this one, after Champagne Fever was pipped by 33/1 outsider Western Warhorse at the line.
1.30 Zola goes for Vautour
Laying out two A4 pages of white, we flung Zola into the stratosphere and for the first race of the festival he landed on highly tipped Vautour, who we put a fiver on. Gilgamboa was our own choice after a hotspot tip..
