12 years ago yesterday, US soccer player Brandi Chastain put the women's soccer on the global sports map when she pulled off her jersey to show her sports bra after scoring the penalty that won USA the Women's World Cup. You'll see below that US goalie Hope Solo - whose physical attributes are as celebrated as her athletic prowess - was photographed with a visibly erect nipple as she celebrated the USA's win yesterday. Who cares right? She had, after all, just stopped Brazil in penalties. She's entitled.
