In North American Sports its standard practice to have commentators who commentate on all the local team's games and are often paid by the team so some bias is expected.
Mike Haynes, the play by play man for the struggling Colorado Avalanche took it a bit far however after the Columbus Blue Jackets scored the winning goal in the final minute of overtime.

Haynes drops his voice very low and says 'scored' in robotic and takes a moment before recovering some of his dignity.
