Clough-Ballacolla progressed to the final of the Laois SHC with victory against Abbeyleix on Saturday night.

It was a comfortable 0-18 to 0-10 win for Clough-Balacolla at the final whistle.

Late in game, Stephen Bergin maintained his side's advantage despite losing his hurley 35 yards from goal.

Bergin used his Gaelic football skills as he soloed the sliotar and then kicked a point from 25 yards, all without his stick.
