You might remember Big Willie Mason from the greatest mic'd up sporting performance ever. But for Korbin Sims, he remembers him from their time as teammates with Newcastle before Mason moved to Manly.
Is this how you treat your friend's that you haven't seen in a while?
It's definitely one of the stranger things we've ever seen in sport. Big Willie Mason must have balls of steel to react the way he did too.
It's thought that Sims did that to try and wind up Mason into hitting him and getting himself sin binned, but Mason spoke to reporters afterwards:
Offended? Please. I think it’s hilarious. I hope he doesn’t [get charged for the incident] because me and Korbin are really good mates and I think it was unlucky because of the timing of it all.
It’s just two good teammates from the last three years having a good old ... just having a good re-acquaintance.
Still, there were plenty of jokes about it in twitter:
Korbin Sims and Willie Mason.
A better love story than Twilight.

Apparently there is a history of that sort of thing in Rugby League:
Remember 2008, when Josh Graham accused Paul Gallen of 'grabbing my wheels'. Gal searching for a new set last night? pic.twitter.com/ir6wPjWPO4
