Ireland are Six Nations champions for 2018, snaffling the crown from England's head. With the possibility of a Grand Slam yet to come, Ireland head to Twickenham for a third coronation in five years.

It is a remarkable return for Joe Schmidt, and it takes him ahead of his English counterpart Eddie Jones in the Six Nations roll of honour. The title was confirmed by England's 22-16 defeat in Paris, meaning that Eddie Jones has suffered consecutive defeats in charge of England for the first time.

He was naturally dejected at full-time, but he managed to pull a few words together in his interview with the BBC.
