eir Sport have confirmed their punditry line-up for this year's Rugby World Cup in Japan.

Coverage will be fronted by former Ireland international Tommy Bowe.

In addition to the Monaghan man, ex-internationals Gordon D'Arcy, Peter Stringer and Jerry Flannery and current Irish women’s international players Eimear Considine and Louise Galvin will be offering their views on the games.

On commentary will be Conor Morris and Liam Toland.

eir sport will broadcast all 48 games from this year's tournament.

RTÉ last year penned a sub-licencing agreement with eir which will see the national broadcaster show 14 matches, including all of Ireland's games.

The tournament gets under on September 20th when Japan face Russia. Ireland's first game, against Scotland, takes place on September 22nd.
