England Fans Are Raging Over 'Forward Pass' In South Africa's First Try

South Africa are Rugby World Cup champions, an honour their performance this morning thoroughly deserved. They dominated England in every facet of the game, overpowering Eddie Jones' side right from the off.

The 20-point winning margin did not flatter Rassie Erasmus' side, with England failing to show up. As Warren Gatland hinted at earlier this week, it does seem that they played their final against the All Blacks last weekend.

Still, a lot of England fans are not happy.

South Africa's opening try was a long time coming, but it was a bit controversial. It appeared that there could have been a forward pass in the buildup, although Jerome Garces and the TMO were happy that it was legal.

It was a close call, but it looks to have been flat. That is not an opinion shared by England supporters.
