Now that the dust has settled on another magnificent European victory at Thomond Park, Munster turn their attention towards South Africa for their respective Guinness PRO14 encounters against Southern Kings and Cheetahs.

The province's squad announcement brings good news for Simon Zebo, who is included in the squad despite departing early last Saturday due to injury. However, for Munster flanker Tommy O'Donnell the announcement is less encouraging with the UL Bohemians man ruled out for the rest of the season.

O’Donnell underwent surgery for the shoulder injury he sustained against Scarlets in round 18. It marks the latest in a cruel string of injuries, stretching back to a missed World Cup due to a hip injury sustained against Wales. He returned to action last December after a month lay-off due to a shoulder injury only to suffer a recurrence against Scarlets.

The full squad for South Africa goes as follows: Simon Zebo, Andrew Conway, Alex Wootton, Darren Sweetnam, Calvin Nash, Sammy Arnold, Rory Scannell, Dan Goggin, Ian Keatley, JJ Hanrahan, Conor Murray, James Hart, Dave Kilcoyne, James Cronin, Stephen Archer, John Ryan, Brian Scott, Rhys Marshall, Niall Scannell, Billy Holland, Jean Kleyn, Gerbrandt Grobler, Peter O’Mahony, Jack O’ Donoghue, Dave O’Callaghan, Conor Oliver, Robin Copeland, CJ Stander.
