We've already said that TV3 are doing a perfectly good job of presenting the rugby to the nation over the past few weeks but there's one thing they can't quite get right. When Tommy Bowe crosses the whitewash, there's something we all need to hear.
You may not know it, and you may not even like it but Ryle Nugent's excitement is missing from our lives. Sure, when Bowe touches down you may hear Ryle in your head as if by some kind of coping mechanism but it's just not the same.
Since we're just so compassionate, we can't help but wonder how Ryle himself is spending his days during the course of the World Cup. Up to this point, we imagined him sitting at home with his full commentating gear, shouting the house down to the increasing anger of his neighbours.
But no, thankfully he's been otherwise engaged courtesy of the generous employment of south Dublin's other favourite son.

As far as we're concerned, Ross is bang on the money with this one. If you pay the Goo Goo Dolls to come and sing in the back garden, you're going to want them to play 'Iris', anything else and you're just getting cheated.
