As part of their 2023 World cup preparation, the Irish rugby team will be playing three warm-ups this August, before the tournament kicks off in September.

Below, we have all the relevant info you will need for the games.

Who Will They Play In The Warm-Ups?

Ireland will face off against Italy, England, and Samoa.

When Are The Warm-Ups?

Ireland play Italy on August 5th, England on August 19th and Samoa on August 26th.

Will The Warm-Ups Be Televised?


Yes, all warm-up fixtures featuring Six Nations sides will be broadcast live on Prime Video.

Can I Buy Tickets For The Warm-Ups?

Tickets for the Italy and England games are available from Ticketmaster.

Bank of Ireland Nations Series Fixtures

  • Saturday 5th August, Ireland v Italy – Aviva Stadium, 8pm
  • Saturday 19th August, Ireland v England – Aviva Stadium, 5.30pm
  • Saturday 26th August, Ireland v Samoa, Stade Jean-Dauger, 9pm local time/8pm Irish time

Rugby World Cup 2023 Fixtures

Pool B:

  • Saturday 9th September, Ireland v Romania – Stade de Bordeaux, 3.30pm local time/2.30pm Irish time
  • Saturday 16th September, Ireland v Tonga – Stade de la Beaujoire, 9pm local time/8pm Irish time
  • Saturday 23rd September, Ireland v South Africa – Stade de France, 9pm local time/8pm Irish time
  • Saturday 7th October, Ireland v Scotland – Stade de France, 9pm local time/8pm Irish time.
