Australia are making a big push to bring second row Kane Douglas back from Leinster in time for the World Cup. Leinster have already agreed to release Douglas, but are expecting the lock back in Dublin after the World Cup, which goes against Australia's selection policy.

Now, Kane Douglas has broken his say on the matter, revealing that he is unsettled in Dublin, and would like to move back to Queensland.

There are a few things going on at home that I need to be there for. I didn't think it would be this tough to be away from it all and I hope I can get back home real soon.

It's been a good time but also tough here and I have spoken to the club about what's going on with my family and I have made it pretty clear that I want to get it sorted.

Douglas' mother passed away in 2013, while he announced last week that his girlfriend is pregnant with their first child. Douglas wants to move back to be closer to both his and his partner's families.

The Sydney Morning Herald reports that IRFU high-performance director and former Wallaby David Nucifora is pressuring Leinster into not releasing Douglas from his contract without a compensation deal. It's also understood that the ARU have already rejected Leinster's compensation deal of €250,000.
