Castore have released the home Leinster kit for the 2023/24 season.

The first use of the jersey in a competitive game will be during next month's Women's Interprovincial Series, and is available to purchase now at Leinster's online shop.

However, it will set you back €90, with the junior jersey costing €60, and the men's shorts an extortionate €70.

Although, this is the going rate these days, with Munster's new gear, for example, costing as much and more.

When Castore were first announced as the new kit supplier for Leinster, there was much dismay from fans, given their poor reputation in the field of football jerseys.

Their fears have now somewhat been alleviated, with most supporters pleasantly surprised with the company's efforts.

"Leinster Rugby and Castore have this morning launched the Leinster Rugby home kit for the 2023/24 season", said a statement from Leinster on their website.

"The all-new Leinster Rugby home kit is a true embodiment of the heritage of the club reflecting some of the iconic jerseys of old, the colours of blue, white and gold and of course, the harp, which has been a mainstay of Leinster jerseys since 1879.

"Crafted with precision and attention to detail by Castore, the new home jersey is a symbol of the communities in the 12 counties of Leinster, and whether you’re cheering from home or joining the team on their journey from the stands, you can wear this kit with pride.

"The kit will be worn by all of Leinster Rugby’s representative sides this season, including in the BKT United Rugby Championship and first up in competitive action during the Vodafone Women’s Interprovincial Series next month."

One concern, however, that was brought up by some quarters is the jersey's similarity to the 2011/2012 jersey, which saw a similar large harp design on the torso of the shirt.
