One of the most universally appreciated moments to come out of the 2015 Rugby World Cup was, without doubt, Luke Fitzgerald embarrassing himself in front of Rory McIlroy with a disastrous golf swing that saw the driver travel further than the ball.

Just in case you have forgotten, here it is.

In the days and weeks that followed, we struggled to believe just how 'viral' that clip became, and we even did an 'international media reaction' to get across just how big it became.

But Luke Fitzgerald does a much better job of explaining the size of the wave of backlash that engulfed him, as he was speaking to Off The Ball on Wednesday night.

Fair play to Luke Fitz for taking the stick like a champ, it was a fantastic moment and will make for a great story for years to come.
