The Mirror have reported that Ronnie O'Sullivan and his son were involved in a car crash after last night's World Snooker Championship but thankfully both escaped unhurt.

They say that O'Sullivan's car hit standing water on the M1 and span out of control before crashing into the reservation in the centre of the road. Both O'Sullivan and his son Ronnie Jr walked away from the crash, shaken but with no serious injury.

While police refused to confirm that O'Sullivan was involved in the crash, they told the Daily Mail 'We did have a road traffic collision on the M1 south bound at about 1.30 in the morning, there was an adult and a child in that vehicle.'
