While October seems a long time away, we're certain that EA's online store is about to see a massive spike in traffic because the first look at FIFA 21 has just been unveiled along with some of the gameplay options.

Fresh from the news that he's on the cover, PSG striker Kylian Mbappé unveiled the first look at the new game in the new trailer which sees the World Cup winner taking on his club teammates Juan Bernat, Marco Veratti, and Layvin Kurzawa in an online match.

Erling Haaland, Joao Felix, and Trent Alexander-Arnold are also on-hand.

FYI, Volta Football is back.

While more technical details are set to be announced in August, the developers have said that they're creating an all-new dynamic attacking system.

The new improvements include a new agile dribbling system - which provides faster footwork, skills, and control in one-on-one situations - and enhanced positioning, which puts an emphasis on the importance of positional awareness.

In terms of movement and positional sense, the creative runs enhancement will also give you new options for influencing your team’s movement off the ball, revolutionising attacking build-up play and providing you with more ways to break down the defence.

In terms of career mode, a new interactive match sim will allow players to jump in and out of matches to influence the course of the action or take charge of key moments including penalties and free kicks to change the outcome of the game.

Gamers will also be allowed greater control over their players’ development with a revamped growth system. Essentially, this will allow you to turn right-backs into right-wingers, defensive midfielders into centre backs etc.

There's also going to be more emphasis on match sharpness and a new active training system that gives you the ability to set up group training sessions to improve the likelihood of your strikers putting away big chances or of defenders making key tackles.

The FIFA 21 Career Mode will also offer improved transfer realism by providing both human and AI-controlled teams with new ways to sign players.
