The lads over at Second Captains are set to return to the national airwaves on Sunday morning, July 10th, at 10am on RTE Radio 1.
It's a welcome return to radio for Eoin, Murph, Ken, Simon and Mark but according to reports - the new show will broaden the scope of their previous efforts - with guests from the world of comedy, acting, journalism, music and politics joining the lads every Sunday morning.
It's their second show on RTE radio - after Second Captains Championship - which, as the name suggests, ran on Sunday evenings and primarily focused on the weekend's Championship action (and was exponentially more entertaining than the Marty Party - RTE's current iteration of the show - which mainly seems to involve Brenda Donohue bellowing at bewildered fans. But she's great craic. So it's okay.)
The lads will be replacing the Miriam O'Callaghan Show for the summer months.
