Katie Taylor's 6th professional fight, her first as a pro in the USA, went exactly as expected as she outclassed Jasmine Clarkson in every aspect of their three-round fight on the undercard of Adrian Broner vs Mikey Garcia in Brooklyn, New York on Saturday night.
After the first 2 rounds, the Bray woman had outscored her opponent in significant punches by 42-4, and the third was even more one-sided as Clarkson had nothing to offer, her corner eventually calling it off at the end of the round.
The opposition may not have been up to much, but it was another box ticked off the list en route to becoming a world champion, something Taylor looked the part of throughout.
Well done Katie!
She's yet to be tested in her 6 pro fights, and you could sense by the way she said 'Is it over?' that she was kind of disappointed to be done so quickly.
On to the next one for Taylor, her performance was understandably well received on social media.

Say what you want about Katie Taylor's opponent. It's hard to match against a girl who is in a league of her own.
