Fabio Cannavaro made being a defender cool. The Italian World Cup winning captain was the best defender of his generation, so when he takes the time out to congratulate you, you must take that as one of the highest compliments of your career.
Unfortunately, Cannavaro made a teeny tiny mistake.
Perhaps it's forgiveable considering those outside of the Premier League can't think of Gerrard without Lampard given the conundrum England had between the two. Both were legendary midfielders for England and their clubs throughout the noughties, and both will be leaving the Premier League for the MLS after this season.
But when Cannavaro took to facebook to congratulate Steven Gerrard on his final Anfield appearance, he put up the wrong photo.
Poor Fabio, it could have happened to the best of us.
