Former Kerry Player Angry About Possible Sky GAA Deal

Two weeks ago, the Irish Daily Star reported that a Sky bid for GAA coverage was highly probably. The likelyhood of that becoming a reality has gained pace with it being thought the association will announce the deal possibly as early as next week.

Former Kerry player Tommy Walsh now with the Sydney Swans in the AFL is one GAA fan who's not happy with the prospect of an amateur game selling TV rights to Sky.

So our "amateur" game is now being sold to Sky? There is no other sport in the world where players & supporters are taken advantage of more!
