The Premier League is back, and that means it is time for us to give our completely undercooked (and no doubt wrong) predictions about the season ahead.

After our effort for the Championship last week, we decided to give it another go. We predicted various topics, and it looks like opinion is split right down the middle in the office.

Here's what we came up with:

Premier League Predictions

Gary Connaughton - Fantasy Football Underachiever

Champions: Manchester City

Top four (in order): Liverpool, Spurs, Arsenal

Relegated: Norwich City, Newcastle United, Crystal Palace

Best of the rest: Leicester City

Top goalscorer: Mohamed Salah

Signing of the season: Kieran Tierney. Left back has been a huge problem position for Arsenal, and he's a steal at that price.

PFA Player of the Year: They will have to give it to a City player at some stage, so I'll go with Raheem Sterling

Flop of the season: Frank Lampard. I can't see how Chelsea won't be a disaster this season.

First manager to receive the sack: Steve Bruce

FA Cup winners: Liverpool

League Cup winners: Manchester City

Irish player to keep an eye on: Troy Parrott (obviously)

What you're most looking forward to: Watching Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea continually try to piss away the top four for most of the year, only for someone to end up there by default.
