The opening moments of Aberdeen vs Celtic were always going to be a bit cagey, but those who tuned in to Sky Sports 1 on Wednesday night were treated to a brief exhibition of football in it's purest form.

At around the 1 minute mark, the ball was lifted into the air, never to touch the ground again.. Football in it's purest form.

It did eventually touch the ground, we tell a lie. Aberdeen went on to win 2-1, we'll assume eventually someone actually wanted the ball.

It's something anyone who has played or watched a game of Sunday League football will know and love, or even anyone who's been in a massive circle of lads in a playground attempting to keep the ball in the air.

Magical. More of this please SPFL.
