Cerrone speaks candidly about the fear of fight day and the self doubt that consumes him during the agonising wait for his fight to start, and it's worth keeping this in mind the next time you're nervous about a match, an exam, an interview, or any situation where you face an anxious wait.

You're intense and your team is over there tellin' you stupid shit that you've heard 100 times like "You got this!", it's like; "Man, just shut the f*** up and let me deal with what I've got to deal with" because my head's goin' a million miles an hour and I've got this f***ing thing in the back of my mind telling me what a bitch I am, and I've got to get the bitch out of me when I walk out to that cage.
It's refreshing to hear a fighter speak so honestly about something which others may perceive as weakness, especially somewhere like the UFC.
