We love a GAA jersey here at Balls. We can't get enough of them in fact, especially something a little bit different.

That's what makes away GAA jerseys so appealing. We are so used to seeing counties in the same colours every week, so it is always a treat when they don a different jersey.

There have been some cracking away inter-county jerseys over the last 20 years. Here are some of our favourites.

Best Inter-County Away Jerseys Of The 21st Century

Kildare - 2018

That shade of green is an absolute beauty.

Galway - 2006

There's something lovely about a white jersey with a maroon trim.

Kerry - 2014

Kerry are consistently amongst the best in class in terms of away jerseys and this one is perhaps the nicest of the lot.

Mayo - 2005

A departure from the red we usually see Mayo wear, this was a cracker.

Down - 2010

Maybe the nicest jersey of the last 20 years, Down wore this in their 2010 All-Ireland final defeat to Cork.

Westmeath - 2015

The green and yellow just works, especially with the white trim.

Tyrone - 2019

Recommended

Tyrone's red efforts are always lovely to look at.

Cork - 2010

The other side of that 2010 All-Ireland final, Cork's jersey was also a beauty. One of the best jersey matchups we've seen.

Kerry - 2019

This was a beauty.

Meath - 2004

We're big fans of the nod Meath's classic chequered design.

Monaghan - 2011

This just works.

Wexford - 2020

Placed number one in our recent rankings of the 2020 away jerseys, this Wexford effort is fantastic.

Mayo - 2006

A more traditional Mayo effort, the pinstripes definitely add a bit of something extra.

Cork - 2020

There's something about the white/red/purple combo that makes this one work so well. This came second in those 2020 rankings.

Limerick - 2017

The faded crest in the background certainly made this one unique, with the fading green stripes also a nice touch.
