The quarter-finals of this year's Electric Ireland Fitzgibbon Cup have been confirmed following the final round of group stage games.

On Thursday, ATU Galway defeated TUS Midwest 2-21 to 1-18 in Moylish. The Galway side, who had faced a strong breeze in the first half, came back from seven points down at the break to secure the victory, and second place in Group D.

ATU Galway will face UCC, who topped Group C, in the last eight. UCC defeated UCD 0-19 to 0-13, also on Thursday. Darragh Flynn scored nine points from placed balls in the game at Belfield to claim a home quarter-final for UCC.

Despite the loss, UCD have also progressed to the quarter-finals. They will face reigning champions UL, who topped Group D with victories over ATU Galway and TUS Midwest.
