In the wake of Senator Michelle Mulherin's complaints of "discrimination" due to the fact that she wasn't allocated two tickets for Sunday's All-Ireland final between Mayo and Dublin, we decided to see just who has access to the tickets for the football decider.
The GAA sent us the figures for the different allocations for the All-Ireland football final in 2015, and it makes for some interesting reading. County allocations went up significantly from 2014, by 1963 tickets. The number of tickets afforded to referees increased by 20 while the number of season tickets decreased significantly, with 603 less than the previous year.
Premium and corporate seats take up a significant amount of room with 10,528 seats.

The GAA did not provide any further information on who specifically has access to the 10,528 Premium/Corporate tickets. This information would perhaps be useful at a time when it is proving so hard for fans to access tickets.
