Arsenal's Gabriel Jesus has struggled to find the net with any regularity this season, with the Brazilian misfiring in front of goal and suffering two injury lay-offs thus far.

It seems as though he has been misfiring off the pitch as well, judging by a Tweet earlier this week which reveals his struggles with first-person-shooter Counter-Strike 2.

Jesus' post on X/Twitter suggests that Jesus has been hit with a ban on the game, and the details of his profile make for remarkable reading.

Arsenal's Gabriel Jesus banned from Counter-Strike 2

On Monday morning, Gabriel Jesus tagged the Counter-Strike Twitter account in a post, asking them to remove a "VAC ban" he alleged he had received unfairly.

The photo in Jesus' tweet suggests that the ban was picked up on Sunday - presumably as the 26-year-old was recovering from playing his part in Arsenal's 5-0 win over Crystal Palace the previous day.

Further info on Jesus' Steam profile suggests that he received a ban from game developers Valve. Even more remarkable is the revelation that Jesus has spent huge money on DLC for the game. Reports suggest that Jesus has spent $38,000 on in-game DLC - money that is now set to go down the drain unless he receives the help he has requested from the game's developers.

Though it has received mixed reviews in many markets, Counter-Strike 2 is immensely popular in Jesus' home country of Brazil, and he has previously hosted live streams on Twitch playing the game with his international teammate Neymar.

Gabriel Jesus has even more pressing issues to address on the pitch with Arsenal, with his side attempting to arrest a slide in form which has their title charge teetering on the brink. Their drubbing of Crystal Palace on Saturday was their first victory in over a month and they now sit five points off league leaders Liverpool.

Arsenal return to Premier League action on Tuesday night away to Nottingham Forest.
