Sony Interactive Entertainment have announced that the new Marvel's Spiderman 2 video game - developed by Insomniac Games - sold more than 2.5 million copies worldwide in the first 24 hours since its release.
This made it the fastest selling PlayStation Studios game in history, who assisted with the its development.
It has also been getting rave reviews since its release on October 20, and currently holds an aggregate score of 91/100 on Metacritic.
While they are incredibly impressive numbers for the PlayStation exclusive, the game still has some ways to go to reach the year's biggest releases such as Hogwarts Legacy and The Legend Of Zelda.
