The sequel to the hugely popular 2010 original was even more well received than its predecessor, and cleaned up at the 2023 Game Awards.

The sheer success of the survival horror game - which follows the protagonist of the game and novelist Alan Wake - bodes well for a third release in the series, and one that won't see a wait of 13 years.
