Sports Experience Zones
1,500 square metres of the store will be dedicated to over 70 sports. Decathlon has built several sports facilities so customers can come and play the sport they wish, with facilities consisting of an indoor football pitch, basketball court, a cycling track, a gym, a climbing wall and an outdoor area for fitness.
The Sport Experience Zones will be free for every customer as Decathlon aims to allow people - to both children and adults - to experience as many sports as possible - at an affordable price.
Decathlon's Second life products
If you wish to become a Decathlon member you will get access to a 20% discount on second-life products.
Second life is an initiative lead by Decathlon which aims to give a second life to already used sport objects or clothes. Thanks to this initiative both the equipment and the customer wins here as the equipment keeps on living without being destroyed whilst you get cheaper sports material.
This is also an environmental initiative as it targets the sustainability of sports equipment. Decathlon aim to change people's habits to save the planet and its people.
The store will also guarantee a one year (365 days) returns on every product, second life or not.

They currently have stories in more than 50 countries worldwide and are still hoping to expand as much as possible outside of France. They also created several sports brand such as Artengo (tennis rackets), Kipsta and Quechua.
