Max Holloway remains the only fighter to take Conor McGregor the distance in the UFC, though that was an encounter where the latter suffered a serious knee injury. Since that defeat, the 23-year-old has gone on a six-fight winning streak. His latest victory was an immensely impressive performance against number five ranked featherweight Cub Swanson on Saturday night (watch the highlights here). The weekend's card in New Jersey also featured another former McGregor opponent, Diego Brandao.

The Dubliner recently rebranded the featherweight division the 'McGregor Division' and he had a message for those populating it.

Despite not being mentioned, Holloway became aware of the tweet and took issue with not being tagged in a post which was clearly referencing him.

Considering the run which the American is on, it is not inconceivable that the two will meet again.
