Zlatan Ibrahimovic Was Booked Taking His Shirt Off, But He Had A Good Reason For Doing It

We brought you news on Saturday that Zlatan scored a typical Zlatan goal. What happened after the goal was anything but typical. He removed his shirt and stood topless exposing his torso completely covered in tattoos. To the casual viewer it appeared to be a classic Ibra showing of egotism. But the real reason behind it is rather extraordinary, as the video below explains.

Ibra is involved with the UN's World Food Programme and had the names of 50 hungry people temporarily tattooed onto his body. His goal was to highlight the fact that there are 805 million people across the world affected by hunger. He received a yellow card for his display but definitely managed to get his point across. It was a pretty great gesture from Zlatan in fairness, who had this to say:

Wherever I go people recognize me, call my name, cheer for me. But there are names no one cares to remember. That no one cheers for: the 805m people suffering from hunger in the world today.

I have the supporters all over the world. From now on I want this support to go to the people who suffer from hunger, they are the real champions. So whenever you hear my name, you will think of their names.
