The MLB Playing Rules Committee are looking to ban home-plate collisions like below for the 2014 season making professional baseball in the US pretty much a non-contact sport, but fortunately this won't stop your over-competitive Uncle bulldozing your 10-year-old cousin in a family game of rounders next summer.

Of course, there are ways of avoiding collisions altogether...
