This is an excellent Grantland feature on a high school American football coach called Kevin Kelley of Pulaski Academy.
His philosophy on the game is a little different from the average high school coach. His team never punta and nearly always take onside kicks as he believes there are statistical advantages to doing both which others have not recognised.

And his record as a coach would certainly seem to back this up as he has won three state titles (Arkansas) as coach of Pulaski and they've also won all ten of their games this season.
