By Conor O'Leary

Just when we thought that Leinster couldn't do anymore after their mammoth 100 minutes against the gargantuans that are Toulon, lowly Top 14 side La Rochelle pop up the next week and show them how to do it.

That win takes La Rochelle eight points from the relegation zone and two points from a Champions Cup playoff spot, while Toulon increase their lead at the top of the table, albeit with Clermont in second having a game in hand.

It almost certainly means that La Rochelle have survived in the Top 14 after being promoted from the Pro D2 last year.

Toulon rested a number of players for the Champions Cup final next weekend, but still fetured the likes of Drew Mitchell, Freddie Michalak, David Smith, Martin Castrogiovanni and Jocelino Suta.

La Rochelle found themselves four points down with 30 seconds remaining on the clock. The following video below captures the insane scenes for the next three minutes.

La Rochelle got into that position through tries from Sireli Bobo (yes, this Sireli Bobo), Kini Murivmurivalu and this stunner from Alofa Alofa:
