Clare travel to Walsh Park to face Waterford on Sunday for this weeks serving from division 1A of the Allianz National Hurling League. Here's all you need to know about Waterford v Clare.

Both sides had wins in the opening rounds of the competition. Clare edged out Cork in Ennis in their opener, after a shaky first half a strong second half display secured the win. Waterford saw off Offaly with an inexperienced team with Stephen Bennett the pick of the bunch scoring 2-07 in a fine display. Waterford manager Davy Fitzgerald was pleased with his youthful sides performance post match.

“To be honest, missing the bodies we were missing, if you were to give me that win at the start of it I’d be absolutely delighted, so we’ll take it”

“Bar the fifteen or twenty minutes at the start of the second half, I’d be happy enough with our performance”

Managers Fitzgerald and Brian Lohan have a long history together and Lohan's Clare side won their last meeting in the Munster Championship back in May.
