Shithousing didn't just come into darts with Gerwyn Price. The Premier League returns to Dublin tonight, with five mouth-watering matches set to take place.
Most eyes will be on William O'Connor, with the Limerick native set to make a guest appearance to take on Michael van Gerwen. The Dutchman is the biggest name in the sport, and has form for some dramatic matches in the Irish city.
It is six years since he took on Peter Wright at the 3Arena in what was an ill-tempered meeting between the pair. Much of that was down to the antics of the Scot, who set out to rile up his opponent.
He intentionally slowed the game down, while also taking the unprecedented move to step away from the oche and pump up the crowd before he threw for a big double. It didn't go down well with van Gerwen, who expressed his anger in his post-match interview despite securing the win:

At some points in this game I wasn't happy. I think what Peter did in the game, I think that's out of order. I think nobody should do that to each other...
My game dropped after that, I wasn't happy with it. I just think that we are professionals, we're here to give the crowd a nice evening. You don't do things like that.
I enjoy playing Peter, he is a good player, but he doesn't need to do things like that. Stepping down to his feet, just play normal darts.
Wright wasn't certainly wasn't too apologetic:
There's nothing wrong with it. I was told off the other week for not doing it against Raymond [van Barneveld] and I got it, this time I didn't.
I'll get it next time against him, I don't give a monkey's. That's the way I play, if he doesn't like it then tough.
I'm going to do him next time.
Wright's attitude certainly seems to have mellowed in the intervening years, culminating with his first world championship win earlier this year.
He takes on Gerwyn Price this evening, another player he has some history with. Those two clashed in the world championship, with Prices's antics getting on the nerve of Wright.
