Ronnie O'Sullivan announced today that he would be returning to defend his World Championship title in April. O'Sullivan went on 'sabbatical' last November proclaiming he was bored with the game.

Undoubtably one of the game's greatest talents, O'Sullivan hasn't always performed up to expectations.  In 1997 against Mark Price, he most certainly did.

The fastest ever maximum break of 147 is unlikely to ever be beaten. Ronnie O'Sullivan won his first world title in 2001 and last year added hist fourth. He is by far the biggest draw for snooker spectators and this news will delight the BBC as they prepare to cover the event.
