While many of us would most likely be making our way to the local this bank holiday weekend, the lockdown put an end to that plan.
However, these recipes will make missing out on the pubs a bit easier.
We have gathered the recipe for some cocktails, all of which are very easy to make. You also won't require many ingredients.
If you don't have a cocktail shaker at home, you can also use a clean jar.
Sex On The Beach
Ingredients: Vodka (50ml), peach schnapps (25ml), orange juice (50ml), cranberry juice (50ml).
A classic and it's very easy to throw together. Just combine the vodka, peach schnapps, and orange juice with ice in the cocktail shaker.
Put into a long glass with ice and top it off with some cranberry juice. Simples.
Whiskey Sour
Ingredients: Whiskey (50ml), juice of one lemon, lemon zest, 1/2 egg white, sugar (tbsp).
One for the whiskey lovers. Add all of the ingredients apart from the zest to the shaker with ice. After mixing, strain into glass filled with ice.
Squeeze the zest over the glass and then discard it or use it as garnish.
Cosmopolitan
Ingredients: Vodka (40ml), triple sec (15ml), cranberry juice (40ml), lime juice.
This is strong, but is a beauty.
Add all ingredients to your shaker with ice and mix well. Add to a glass and garnish with an orange slice of you're feeling fancy.
Mojito
Ingredients: Rum (50ml), mint leaves, brown sugar, soda water, lime.
Add the rum, mint leaves and brown sugar to your glass, and crush the ingredients to combine them all.
Top up with soda water, lime juice and ice and give it a good stir. Garnish with a lime wedge and a mint leaf. You'll feel like your on holiday.
Woo Woo
Ingredients: Vodka (50ml), peach schnapps (25ml), cranberry juice (100ml).
Basically a sex on the beach minus the orange juice. Add all the ingredients into the shaker with mix well.
White Russian
Ingredients: Vodka (30ml), coffee liqueur (30ml), cream (30ml).
The Big Lebowski special. Add all three ingredients into a glass with ice and stir it well. That's it!
Long Island Iced Tea
Ingredients: Vodka (12.5ml), gin (12.5ml), rum (12.5ml), tequila (12.5ml), triple sec (12.5ml), cola, lime juice.
This one requires more ingredients than other included in the list, but it's a beauty.
Add all the alcoholic ingredients to your shaker with ice. After mixing, pour into a long glass with ice. Add the cola and a dash of lime juice.
